Welcome to ROTARY CLUB OF BARODA METRO

Rotary Club of Baroda Metro is one of the leading clubs with more than 30 years of existence. One of all Baroda’s Rotary clubs major efforts has been to rehabilitate two entire villages in Jamnagar district after devastation of the 2001 earthquake.

Some of our current projects of Rotary Club Of Baroda Metro:

  • Project Astha and Nishtha - Total 413 houses were reconstructed in Two villages in 2001 Gujarat earthquake
  • Project Sanjeevani – This project gives low cost dialysis facilities for patients of kidney failure in Ramkrishna Paramhans Hospital, Kalali.
  • Project Atmanirbhar – Free fitment of artificial limbs as well as distribution of calipers, crutches, wheel chairs and self employment kits to the physically/economically challenged.

  • More than 3200 Polio Corrective surgery

  • More than 50 toilet blocks mainly for girls in Government schools.
  • Project Drashti –  Restoration of vision and eye sight by free cataract operations. Free spectacles to the students with defective eyesight. Provision to perform operations at no cost for children with eye defects.
  • Swachhata Abhiyan -  On 1st October 2015, a drive by 30000 Students of 151 Schools of Vadodara
  • Project Shushrut – Rotary Radiology Clinic – A full fledged radiology centre at Chhota Udepur.

  • Rotary Bal Kalyan Kendra – Complete neo-natal ward at a primary health centre in Chhota Udepur.
  • Project E-Cube – Building a model self sufficient village at Katarwant village,Chotaudepur. A Project to prevent soil erosion, enhance water conservation, increase irrigated and cultivable land, help multiple cropping and reduce dependence on rain water, changing lives of a tribal village.
  • Donation of R.O. Plants, classroom libraries to Municipal schools.
  • Happy Schools – Transforming government schools into “Happy Schools” under Rotary India Literacy Mission.
  • Active Participation in District Service Projects –Donation of benches, green boards, computers, sweaters, raincoats, e-learning software, toilet blocks, water Purifiers to schools and sewing machines to needy women.
